Have
you ever been
abroad ? Where did you stay ? With other
tourists or people from the country you visit? It's a fact that when
most people go on holiday they spend most of the time speaking the
same language, eating the same types of food and socialising with
people of the same nationality. The places they choose to go
to are normally holiday resorts aimed at catering to the demands of
foreign tourists. Now
in our second year in Thailand, we place
couples or families with Thai families.
We encourage them to combine organised
daytrips to some of the most beautiful
sights in Thailand with living in a Thai community. Where you will learn to
speak some Thai ( quite difficult!! ) Don't worry English is spoken
also ! Eat beautifully cooked Thai food
( spicy is optional ). We normally recommend a 7 days cultural
immersion programme combined with 7 days on your own (maybe at a
beach resort) But can provide a cultural programme that can extend
as far as you want to.... Thailand has a lot to show and teach
you !

If this
is your first visit you will find
Thailand a daunting place - English is
spoken a little ( normally in the
capital Bangkok and international
resorts like Pattaya or Phuket )
Our
culture immersion programme will organise your collection
from Bangkok international airport and
taken to Lopburi (150 km north of
Bangkok )
Lopburi is a town with a
fascinating history as well as a town
known for the large number of monkeys
that share the town with the locals.
Being just about 90 minutes by road from Bangkok
makes it an ideal location to access
some of the many interesting places
Thailand has to offer. And also the hub
on which
your Cultural
Experience can be built from.
Two
hours to the east you can find the River
Kwai railway crossing and the the graves
of many English, Dutch and Japanese
soldiers. The Jeath war museum close by,
is an interesting way to spend a couple
of hours. Our daytrips also include
Ayuttaya ( The old capital of Siam ) The
floating market in Ratchaburi, The seven
tier waterfall in Arawan national park,
An Elephant Camp. We will also take you
to some of the best shopping markets and
help you negotiate some good prices.
Some of our Bangkok mini-tours are aimed
at showing you the best markets and
insider information for would-be
importers... |
